EUR/USD
EUR/USD extends its decline for the fifth consecutive day, trading near 1.0550, marking fresh yearly lows during Thursday’s Asian session. This downside of the pair is mainly attributed to the strengthening US Dollar (USD), driven by “Trump trades.”
GBP/USD
The GBP/USD pair extends the decline to near 1.2685 during the Asian trading hours on Thursday. A rally in the US Dollar (USD) to the highest level since November 2023 weighs on the major pair. The Bank of England (BoE) Governor Andrew Bailey is set to speak later on Thursday.
USD/JPY
USD/JPY holds firm near its highest level since July 24, having briefly popped 156.00 in the Asian session on Thursday. AUD/USD
AUD/USD hangs near its lowest level since August 6 below the 0.6500 level following the release of rather unimpressive Australian employment details for October. Meanwhile, RBA Governor Michele Bullock said earlier on that interest rates were restrictive enough and will not rise any further.
NZD/USD
NZD/USD extends its decline for the third consecutive day, trading near 0.5870, marking a three-month low during Thursday’s Asian session. The pair’s downward movement is largely due to the strengthening US Dollar (USD), fueled by “Trump trades” and less dovish remarks from Federal Reserve (Fed) officials following US inflation data.

The USD/CAD pair gains ground for the fifth successive day, trading around 1.4010 during the Asian session on Thursday. On the daily chart, the analysis indicates that the pair moves upwards within an ascending channel pattern, suggesting an ongoing bullish bias.
USD/CHF
The USD/CHF pair builds on the previous day’s breakout momentum and gains traction for the fifth successive day on Thursday. This also marks the sixth day of a positive move in the previous seven and lifts spot prices to the 0.8875 region, or the highest level since July 24 during the Asian session.
CRUDE OIL
Oil prices slipped in early trade on Thursday, reversing most of the previous session’s gains, weighed down by worries of higher global production amid slow demand growth, with a firmer dollar exacerbating the declines.
Gold price is sitting at its lowest level in two months near $2,560 early Thursday, as buyers eagerly await US Federal Reserve Jerome Powell’s speech for a brief respite.
